  • ACUPUNCTURE

Chinese Medicine, especially acupuncture, restores balance by stimulating energy channels with fine needles. Dana uses small needles and remains present throughout treatment, adjusting in real time to your body’s response. Rooted in ancient tradition, this practice sees health as the dynamic balance of yin and yang—opposing yet interconnected forces. Illness occurs when that balance is disrupted.

  • JAPANESE TEISHIN AND ENSHIN

These ancient Japanese treatment modalities have a broad spectrum of uses. They activate channels and points without inserting acupuncture needles or penetrating the skin. Using a Teishin-Enshin tool allows me to treat even the most sensitive of people. Both of these powerful tools complement any acupuncture treatment.

  • CHINESE HERBALISM

Chinese herbs enhance treatment by balancing specific meridians through their properties—flavor, direction, and function. Herbal formulas are carefully combined for synergy, based on a diagnosis that considers the patient's Yin, Yang, and affected organs. Most formulas are plant-based and come in various forms like powders, tablets, or pastes. Dana also incorporates Chinese dietetics, a nutritional therapy rooted in the same principles of balance and harmony.

  • SHIATSU

A Japanese form of acupressure, the literal translation of shiatsu is finger (shi) and pressure (atsu). In the Kata form, the technique uses various hand positions to stimulate the points on energy meridians. This dynamic form of body work, tailored to my patient’s needs, allows the body to easily release tension.

  • FLOWER ESSENCES

From the stresses of everyday life to major trauma, flower essences work on an energetic level and do not interfere with any other form of medicinal therapy. Flower essences have a powerful yet subtle effect on the nervous system. I often give patients a flower essence formula before I prescribe an herbal formula or acupuncture for the treatment of acute or chronic conditions.
